You can find me in and around Northern Virginia. My wonderful husband, Matt, and I are doing our best to conquer the adventures of life as parents and share our journey with others. We have two adorable and sweet little girls as well as an energetic fur baby. My husband is surrounded by a home full of girls.

I am passionate about sharing my experiences as a Mom and the products that we use in our everyday life. This page has helped me inspire others around me, while meeting some amazing moms and companies.

When I am not here, I’m probably trying to fit in a workout, do a home project or teaching little minds to persevere through challenging tasks.

I enjoy all aspects of motherhood and often get asked where the name I use came from: The Unexpected Girl Mama – because I was very surprised when we waited till birth to find out we were having a girl (not once, but twice).
